ABOUT DEVON REECE FREEMAN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Devon Reece Freeman was a classmate and peer to us and many more, often bringing much energy, drive, passion and joy to the classroom, field, competition, etc. Devon was involved in everything that he could possibly fit into his schedule while in high school, and was a light wherever he was. Upon graduating from high school Devon pursued his dream and got a job working for Union Pacific as a signalman.
Roscoe Collegiate class of 2012 honors our beloved classmate Devon Reece Freeman by presenting two scholarships (male & female) to seniors at RCHS annually. This scholarship is significant and unique in that it honors Devon's legacy of pursuing his passion of working, upon graduating from high school. The application is open to ALL seniors at RCHS, and does not require applicants to go on to college.
The Devon Reece Freeman Scholarship is based entirely off of donations. Please help us to honor Devon's legacy by checking out and sharing our facebook page, and considering a donation. There is a link to our PayPal account under the 'Giving' tab above. Here your generous donation will be collected and transferred directly into the scholarship account. If you would rather donate directly to the account, it is set up at First Financial Bank in Sweetwater, TX. Just give them a call and they will take care of you. Thank you kindly for your consideration and/or contribution!
